You can call me basic all you want, but Fall is my absolute favorite time of year! From the fashion trends to the changing leaves, I am here for it all. In the spirit of my love for autumn, here is a list of my top five favorite things I am enjoying this season.
1). Warm, Neutral Nail Polish Tones-I love the cozy, natural vibes these colors project. Transitioning to these warm tones from the bright, summer blends is also so comforting and nostalgic. I will be wearing OPI Endless Sun-ner on repeat until winter!
2). Crewneck sweatshirts and fall always seem to go hand in hand. This fall I have two favorite styles and I honestly can’t choose between the two so I will show you both. The first pays tribute to the beautiful, sleepy town of Stars Hollow. Nothing feels more like fall than a Gilmore Girls episode so this one just felt right. I have also been seeing these sweet sweatshirts all over my social media so I jumped on the bandwagon. Etsy offers more personalized options and dog breeds, but this option from Amazon was adorable and in a good price range. Halloween Ghost Dog Crewneck
3). Fleece Blankets-They don’t call it “cozy season” for nothing! This is the time to pull out all of the stops and indulge in all things soft and snuggly. With that, each year I am faced with a serious weakness when it comes to fall-themed blankets. At this point, it’s kind of a sickness but once again I caved and found myself blacking out and hitting the “checkout” button with a Hocus Pocus throw in my cart. Oops! It’s adorable and soft and there is a 100% chance I WILL be a total nerd and cover up with it while I watch the movie. Sorry not sorry! 4). Chobani Pumpkin Spice Creamer-Ok I know pumpkin spice is a very controversial subject but just hear me out on this one! From September through November, I like to enjoy a hint of this sweet nectar from the “fall gods” and this season I stumbled upon this blend and have been hooked! The flavor isn’t overpowering and adds just enough to my morning cup of joe. Even if you aren’t a “pumpkin spice girl,” I think you will like this one. 5). Spooky Books-I would read the duration of a weekend if my family let me…which never happens by the way. This season I started off strong with a super creeper, psychological thriller that scared the pants off of me! It was, as promised, terrifying and although I finished it weeks ago, I still can’t get it out of my head! I LOVED We Used to Live Here by Marcus Kliewer and I think you will too!
